Star citizen joystick sensitivity curve
I've tried flying with mouse for comparison's sake and discovered it to be much easier, so I was wondering (after seeing several good pilots on Youtube with HOTAS setups) if there was something wrong with my sensitivity curves, as I vaguely remember that being a concern a while ago with this game.ĭoes anyone have any experience with that, or can refer some good curves to try out? Something that remains precise at low input, but is still capable of rapid rotation at high-input? Any tips would be splendid. Pics of s curves or j curves would be helpfull. i'm trying to fine tune my aim but i'm having a hard time.v joy messes my system for some odd reason and i was curious as to what sensitivity curves you guys are comfortable withor if you use dead zones for your left hand stick etc. I find rolling and strafing to be wayyyy too sensitive and with that program I can move my left stick a lil and keep my ship at 1-150 speed without a limiter on. I'm using duel joystick Thustmasters 16000M. sluggish to respond half the time, or two sensitive the rest of the time. download joystickgremlin, as others have mentioned. im trying to fine tune my aim but im having a hard time.v joy messes my system for some odd reason and i was curious as to what sensitivity curves you guys are comfortable withor if you use dead zones for your left hand stick etc. Basically I feel like the controls in SC are. Im using duel joystick Thustmasters 16000M. It's been tested in a variety of games with six degrees of freedom, most prominently including Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, and Overload. While the design has been primarily focused on space games, the joystick has potential uses in other applications, such as VR and robotics. I'm very familiar with a joystick (I'm an accomplished pirate in Elite: Dangerous and flown many a flight sim/space sim) so I don't think it's pilot error, but it could be. It enables highly intuitive control in three-dimensional environments.
